Love for Lupe Fiasco

10. Am I the only one is is sick of these Save the Last Dance like movies. I am also sick of seeing comic book/cartoon remake movies also. Lets not forget the movie about the nice white lady who goes to inner city to help the poor naturally tanned kids learn how to read and write. Hollywood is an example of one of the ills of capitalism. I find myself watching foreign films often because most American films are lacking. Instead of spending money on special effects most American films would do better in spending money on better screen writers. If you want to see good American films you have to wait until November-early January.

9. I am in serious need of some pe.nis. Its been so long(October) since I last wrapped my legs around the swinger's(archives) neck. Ole boy has been blowing up my phone too. Maybe I will hook up with him next week. I should probably put in the energy to meet and get to know someone else, but I just don't have the time right now.

8. So Muicca Prada has finally used a black model. Jourdan Dunn is the first black model to walk the Prada runway since Naomi Campbell back in the 90's. The sad thing is, there are so many blacks wear goods by Prada, but not I(well maybe now since she used a blk model). I think she was/is trying to tell us something when she used all Nordic looking models for years on end. Do you get it.

7. Do you think Beyonce intentionally stepped on Tina Turner's foot. I think it was a accident. If you look at the video, you can see that Beyonce was completely thrown off (for once) after stepping on Tina's foot. Of all the entertainers out today, I would say that Beyonce is the closest thing to Tina.

6. Going to school and working full time is not easy. Lack of sleep is going to kill me.

5. I am going to Europe for Spring break baby.

4. Whats up with black people who don't want to vote for Obama because he is black. Mr. 50 cents, I saw the video in which you said you do not want to vote for Obama because "they" might kill him. I find it ironic that you would be so fearful of Obama being murdered when your entire persona revolves around the fact that you were shot 9 0r 10 times and you brag about
killing other people on your CDs. Need evidence, click this

3. The Wire is almost over and they killed Omar. Why Lord why.

2. MAC face! Why are so many women walking around with stripes of color painted on their faces. I love makeup, but I use colors that suite me. I will not walk around looking like some of the faces that I see in Towson Town Center. I hope that none of these women are thinking that they are going to attract a man looking like that(if they are looking for a man). A lot of these women look like straight up clowns.

1. Once more on Obama. To be honest I thought I would never see the day in my life time that a black man is so close to becoming president. I can only imagine what is going through the minds of many elderly black people who are 80 years old and older. African-Americans from that age group have grandparents and some parents who were slaves. For them to see someone like Obama come so far and so close must be unbelievable. I am going to talk with some of the older black people I come across to find out their opinion first hand.

Youtube video of the day: fake viagra prescription.
What type of doctor laughs at this pateints like this.

For the Nigerian people who read this blog check out how well this guy has gotten the Nigerian accent down. I think he sounds more like an Ibo guy if you ask me.

hmmm...#1 is really true. A lot of the hollywood films you see nowadays are remakes and same ol' storylines. I can't remember the last time i went to watch an american flick in the cinema. I'd much rather watch my naija films cos you can learn one or two lessons from them and they're just so entertaining.

hehehe....u never chop 'dick' since october and u dey mourn. How about me that i've never even kissed sef since 2006?

Amen, to that! Especially numbers 10(this shit is getting too repetitive! Can we say, "be creative" for a change?) and 4 (screw 50 AND his vitamin water. That comment he made is just ignorant! I'm sure Obama knows there's a posibility that some idiot may try something. If he's okay with it, wants to run and is the best candidate-why wouldn't you vote for him?) Get a life 50...

I am in serious need of some pe.nis I am on the same boat, since the 1st week in Nov, ok too much info but you started it, lol.

Obama will set the level of self esteem up for the word and beyond. he has done something that makes people sit and say I can be who I want to be bcus he is a good example. Those people who are not supporting him have issues they are in denial about or dont believe in themselves to believe in him.

have fun in europe i wish i had a break now too.

Abeg, make you tell them ojare, Beauty! lol! Some movies are just so sad, but the formula works, young kids with money to waste, watch them. I decided a long time ago not to ever own Prada. The reason was what you discussed. There has been a Blackout at the label for far too long. I am glad that Jourdan graced the catwalk, but underimpressed with the House's performance. I hope that there will be a growing awareness amongst Black people and non-Blacks that beauty does not have to be caucasian or caucasian-related. God made all people beautiful.

Enjoy Spring Break and I'm off to watch the clip.

Well, if Obama gets shot, doesn't that make him gangsta? Street cred, b----es!

Re: no. 9, see wienna's comment. When ugly people start turning you on, it's time to get back in the dating game. I think "he could get it" about 100 times a day. Alas, I am a prude.

Tina kept going though she was obviously in pain. That's an entertainer!

Have fun in Europe. You can probably fix #9 there. What happens in another continent...

Re: no 1, I wish I could get on the bandwagon but he's a politician and my experience with his peers during an internship taught me better. Also, screw hope. I have nearly 6 figures in student loans, my brother might get sent to Iraq yet again, I can't find a good job in spite of 2 expensive degrees, I'm realizing that the public schools in my new town are glorified babysitters, the water is nasty, etc. and I'm actually pretty well off. I don't need hope. I need solutions. I don't need to feel good about being an American. Frankly, I don't like any of my options but I don't really see how any of the three could do worse than the current one. In pretty much every area of life, I support black people and women; put those two together and I'll probably be your biggest cheerleader. Politics is different. My very popular former senator, her officers and her peers are completely responsible for this view. As far as people's day to day lives go though, they need to focus on their state and local elections, not that I'm any more optimistic about that. I'd run for office but I'm afraid of losing my soul and becoming what I despise most.
