Covergirl outlast all day lipcolor is the best lipstick ever. I have no idea why it hasn't been used or tested by many of the bigger brown beauty bloggers on youtube. I am Carmel brown colored, I use the brazen raisin color for a natural sort of pinkish lip.

This stuff lasts all day, seriously. I've worn if for 16 hours straight without needing a touch up. I simply swiped on the moisture stick that you get in the pack to refresh the lipcolor every so often and I am as a fresh as a daisy. I hate transfer. I hate to take a sip of my drink and look down to see my lipstick on the side of the cup. Covergirl outlast lipstick has no transfer.

Suffering in Silence

Let's end the myth that only white girls have eating disorders. A new study published by the University of Southern California found that African-American girls are 50 percent more likely to be bulimic that girls who are white.

For some reason this doesn't surprise me. I have notice within the last few years that the Black women of Baltimore seem to fall on the far ends of the weight polls. In other words, the Black women are very slim or very heavy. There are not many who fall in between. I think some of this could be a result of trying to look like video girls but for the majority of sisters, their bulimia is a result of other problems. Child hood abuse, being a single mother, working numerous jobs, not feeling attractive are all possible reasons why the rate of bulima is much higher amongst black women.

3. Why the hell the price of everything increasing at such a fast rate. The coast of food is skyrocketing. A pastry that I buy at the farmers market has increased from 1.75 to 2 bucks and I've noticed that bread ,milk and fruits and veg tables have also gone up.

2. I am so happy I don't drive right now. I am planing on buying a car thought. I need it for nursing school. Gas is to darn expensive although the price should start dropping since Saudi Arabia has pledged to increase output.

When I check my site hits, there are a couple of searches that frequently led to hits for this blog. One is blacks or African-Americans who travel abroad of which I am very proud of the fact that many people are interested in blacks who travel or study abroad. The other search which brings a lot of hits to this blog is "do black men hate black women".

I sometimes wonder if this is the work of the media that we absorb and then interpreted or transscribe as the gospel. Increasingly in movies and television, black male characters are shown with non black girlfriends and wives. So much so, that many black actress are suffering. Hollywood is not a female friendly place to begin with, but add in the natural tan and your chances of finding quality work sharply decreases. Tonight I watched Mad TV and two of the skits featured black males with white wives and IR were not apart of the skit. Most black men do not marry white women, interracial marriages between black and whites in this country are rare. So why are black women being squeezed out of Hollywood and why are so many black men filled with dislike and hatred for black women.

Today, there are a number of blacks who work at all levels in the music bussiness. If you think black music executives don't play a large role in the fact that almost all black pop singers who receive major promotion look similar to Beyonce(I stan), think again. In a number of interviews and articles on the changing face of the music business a number of blacks in music business have made the statement that the reason most African-American female entertainers are light-skinned is because white people can relate to them more thereby helping the artist to sell more records.

This is absolutely the biggest piece of BULLSHIT to ever fall out of the mouth of a black person. We can not blame white people for everything, and this is certainly an example of the backwards thinking of many black people. In the eighties two of the biggest black pop talents where medium brown caramel colored Janet Jackson and Jodey Watley. Both of these women sold a lot of albums and had international success. If you think that only black people brought their albums you are a fool. Llikewise, go to youtube and pull up any video of Dianna Ross and Tina Turner in concert and you will see plenty of white people in the audience. How the hell do you think they are able to sell out arenas??? Anybody remember Lauryn Hill ten years ago, whites could not get enough of her music,including Hill's look and natural hair.

Don't believe the hype, if anything, white Americans are picking up on the backwardness of color struck black people and are now looking at us threw the lenses that we provide. In a way, I believe many black people have a touch of Stockholm's syndrome as a result of slavery and colonialism. We seel to look like the people whose ancestors enslaved us.

Until I started to read the blogs of other black women online, I had no idea that so many black women are unhappy with their looks. A few of the common themes I notice over and over his how black men don't like the natural texture of our hair, dark skin or flat nosees blah blah blah. I don't have a problem with our beauty,maybe it's because I have been approached by all types of people and have told that I am nice looking or maybe it's because I like to look at high fashion magazines where beauty is much more diverse. What's ugly in downtown Baltimore is considered beautiful in the high fashion world.

This is also why it is important for us to have our own publications where we showcase a wide range of black beauty. When we see high fashioned black models like Alec Wek, Sessilee Lopez and Atong in advertisements we must write emails or letters to the advertisers thanking them for using said model. Black women should also be conscious of the way they talk about the texture of our hair,facial features, and skin color around our children because they learn a lot from us.
Speaking of skin color, rapper Young Berg, the idiot who made a rap song using a medley/beat from a jig
made it know during an interview that he does not find dark-skinned black women attractive, calling them "black butts". He went on to say that he can not date any woman darker than himself and he is as light as Beyonce. Listen here, for yourself.

That said, look at the men in the video below, what could make them have so much hatred for black women. These brothers are older and to hear them talk about black women is this way is very frightening. One of the men(?) said "I can't wait until we can cut these black bitches throats/heads off" WHAT? If they can hate us like this no wonder Dumbar village happened. This is not so safe for work so turn it down or listen with headphones.

When I read this ^^^ across my computer screen I could not believe it. R. Kelly is not guilty-all of the 14 charges were dismissed. I really thought they were going to nail this sicko. I mean, the tape was not so distorted because you could/can make out that it is R.Kelly in the tape without straining your eyes.

I went to one of my favorite gossip blogs this morning to check out the comments, and what I read truly did not surprise me. There were a number of people like myself who think that idiot should burn in hell. There was an equally large number of people who want to blame the 13 year old for what happened by calling her all types of names including but not limited to, whore, tramp, slut, and fastass. Since when have we in the black community decided to hang our girls out to pasture in this manner. Things like this give more proof to Evia's talk of DBM and the black Mammys in our community.

If this is the way that we now treat our young women, then maybe I need to turn in my black card. I have no desire to be around or associate myself with people who think that it is okay, alright or normal behavior for a adult male to have sex with such a young girl. Have any of you seen the video? I have, and let me tell you something, that little girl could not pass for anyone's 18 years old. Her body was in the earliest and I mean earliest stages of puberty as her chest was almost flat as board and she had no hips to speak of. Even in the quick shot of her face, she had the look of a very young child.

From what I've read, R. Kelly is suppose to be this little girl's Godfather. I can only imagine how sick he really is to have had sex with her after standing in a church with her when she was a small baby to baptised(comment from RWB). I wonder if during the day of her baptism he was dreaming of the day he would piss in her mouth. What a degrading way to treat another human being. At 13 years old, there is no way that this young baby could of been into this type of stuff, she was simply led along by a man who was much older and experienced than she was.

Many people want to make a big deal out of the fact that the young girl managed to have intercourse with R.Kelly without looking like a novice. To those who made note of her experience I say, who do you think taught her??? Maybe R. Kelly was the one to break her in. I am very sure that the episode we saw on camera was not the first time he slept with her. I've read that R.Kelly paid the young girls parents off. If that is true, then what type of parents did this young lady have? What man would pimp his daughter out for any amount of money. Reading this makes me wonder if the father had his way with her also.

The sad thing is, the life of a dog is worth more than the body of a black girl. While Micheal Vic sits a prison cell somewhere for fighting and killing dogs, R.Kelly remains a free man after fucking and pissing on (and in the mouth of?) a little girl. Is it any wonder black women, that we are treated in the manner that we are, when so many of us want to make excuses for this type of behavior. A number of black people are running around saying I am glad he got off because that would of been another black man in jail, and to them I say- SO WHAT. This is not a one time thing for R. Kelly, he has done it multiple times. Furthermore,I don't care what color a person is, if they do the crime, they should do the time. I find it outrageous that black people can rally around Sean Bell and the Jenna 6 but this little girl has her body violated and we have a large number of people on the molesters side. Or maybe if a white man did it then black people would be more untied and ready to protest.

Why are so many black women willing to sacrifice everything to protect black men? Where are the black men to protect us? Why are so few of them militant and loudly vocal about the destruction of the image of the black woman?

American Children Are Out Of Control 2

Children in this country are out of control. Why is it that so many of them think it is okay to physically attack the adults who are here to help them. I am sure most of you have read about the Baltimore teacher who was beaten up in her classroom by a student. Sadly, I know this woman, and she has the type of personality which makes for a good teacher. After her attack, she said that she will not return. Children of parents who can not afford private school are losing out in this country. Without a good education most black people who live in the hood can forget about ever leaving the hood.

After seeing the video below, I would advise teachers to ask that boxing lessons be included in their next contract. I gotta give it to the teacher, she was able to hang in there for a while but an out of shape 17 year old almost always wins over an out of shape 40 year old.

BITCH ARE YOU CRAZY. How dare you talk of the possible assignation of Barack Obama as the reason you plan on staying in the race. How insensitive are you. You mentioned that Bobby Kennedy was assassinated in California. Did you not hear that Ted Kennedy has a malignant brain tumor. It was announced last week, and only a few days later you decided to mentioned his brother's assignation as a dig towards Barack. Was this a sign to some of your voters in Kentucky that you want one of them to take him out.

As a woman I an truly embarrassed for you. I was going to vote for you, until you and your husband played the race card. You see, when I was in high school I read a biography about you. In the book, many of your law professors were asked which of you were the most intelligent. All of your the professors interviewed made note of the fact that while both of you were truly intelligent students, your star was a bit brighter than Bill's. In middle and high school, I would read all of the horrible things that politicians had to say about you and your husband, with you usually taking the harder hit. I had empathy for you. I believed that they picked on you because you were/are a strong woman who can do more than bake cookies.

Now I am starting to see what the Republicans and some of your fellow Democrats were talking about. You are a bit bull in a skirt. You will do anything to win. For this I lose respect for you. After your coded calling for the assignation of Barack Obama, other people have decided that it is now okay to joke about assignating him. Check out the dinosaur in the video below. As you know, most people do not think very much and all we need is one idiot to take a shot at him. As you have been able to pull the poor white vote, many of those people still hold deep prejudices against blacks that are hundreds of years old. If something happens to Barack please know that you have blood on your hands.Have you any idea what Barack's possible assignation may do to this country.

You would of been better off bowing out like a true champion as you can always run again if Obama does not win or do well in his first term. Look at John McCain, he has been running for president for ever and he finally has a shot at becoming president.

P.S. I hope nothing happens to Barack Obama as I wonder what will happen to this country and how it will be seen to the outside world. While the USA advocates for freedom and justice in the world, the opposite is happening in her home.

Amsterdam post tomorrow, I promise.

1. I went to Towson Town Center today. As I was walking to the mall, a brother was standing on the cornor with his girlfriend. His girlfriend was a white woman, and homeboy went out of his way to let me know that he was with her. I had on a pair of very dark Jackie O glasses so he could not see my eyes. This fool was squinting and trying to see thru the dark lens of my sunglasses to see if I was looking at him. The idiot would smile and grab her around the neck when he thought I was looking at him. I wanted to tell him, "Sir I don't care that you are not with a black woman, because keeping it real, I would never date you any way". Instead I just keep it moving. The poor woman had no idea what he was doing as she looked like she was looking for someone. Date who you like, but don't be with a person of another race just to spite the men/women of your own race. I notice that a number of white men who date Asian women use to same kind of reasoning as some of our very sad brothers(?)

2. While I was inside of the mall I saw an Asian albino person. I have never seen an Asian albino before. It was so shocking to me. I guess that gene for albinism must not be common among Asian people.

As most of you know, the Governor of NY state recently stepped down because he has patronized high priced call girls or prostitutes. Well another blogger and I, the brilliant M.dot have been going back and fourth along with Aunt Jackie in the mix.

I must admit that I've always though prostitution should be legal but Amsterdam really cemented my thinking.

M.Dot who said those women don't have a choice. The women I saw in Amsterdam would tell men to get away from their windows/doors if they did not find them attractive. Even street prostitutes will turn a man down if they don't want to perform an act or find him repulsive. I also saw some of those same prostitutes bang on the windows or even open the doors to whistle at men they found attractive.
Since we use the argument that being pro-life is telling a woman she can't have control over her body aren't we telling women who want to sell it legally the same thing?
According to all of the documentaries I’ve seen, articles and books I read, most men go to prostitutes for oral sex. So men are renting a mouth, not a vagina. The reason that so many men go for oral sex is because there are still a lot of women( like myself) who hate it and see it as demeaning. There are other who men don't want their wives or girlfriends to perform oral sex on them since they see it as disgusting and disrespectful even though they enjoy it.
There are other men who go to talk. Can you believe it, just to talk. Now what kind of woman does he have at home that he can't even sit down to talk to her. He has to go and pay a prostitute for conversation or just to listen. I some of the johns have sympathy for the women too.
There are also the pervs who go to prostitutes because the women they have at home won't perform certain acts. Things like beating him with a whip, using a hammer on his penis, tying his penis in a knot etc. On the HBO documentary I a few years ago, prostitutes laughed amongst themselves about the different perverted customers they serviced. They also made fun of another prostitute who did not make as much money as they did because she would not turn down the perverts.
Yes it is payment for her body no questions asked, but how is that so different from a booty call besides the exchange of money. Don’t women call men for booty calls so they can have good sex and then have the men leave a few minutes after the act is over. Not all men are looking for a relationship. I would much rather a man sleep with a prostitute who knows the deal instead of meeting a woman who wants more and dumping her after he has had sex with her. Some men never want to get married.
Violence unfortunately comes with the territory when you work the streets. The likelihood of violence against a prostitute sharply decreases in places like the bunny ranch.

Furthermore, there are plenty of women who are assaulted that have never worked in the industry. Most women are attached by men they know, not a boogy man.
What about women who trick? There are women who pay to have sex with men. I saw a documentary on this too. What about men who trick for other men?
By the way I am not including drug addicts who sell their bodies because that is different. I also think that street prostitution should remain illegal.
You would be surprised at the number of prostitutes who use condoms compared to women who don’t work in the sex industry.

P.S. The thing is, most women don't understand that for a man the most important thing is busting a nut(orgasm)wheather he has to pay for it,trick you out of it(by telling you he loves you when he does not), or get you to give to him no strings attached. I don't think most women don't truly understand men and the pull that sex has on them. Its a weakness more than anything.

Gotta Show MIA Love!

The stuff white people like blog has really taken off. In just a few months the owner has hit the big time. I read somewhere that he scored a book deal for 350,000 thousand. Along with the book deal there have been numerous mentions and links to his blog on various blogs,radio shows and even newspaper articles. He has also spun a number of copycat blogs. Personally, I find these blogs very tongue and check. I have noticed that some people are offended by these stuff blogs. From the handful I have looked at, I think many of those people are just looking for something to be offended by.

At one point people were saying that book deals for bloggers were over after a number of bloggers who received book deals did not move units. One of the most notorious bloggers with a book deal and one of my fav's was Jessica Cutler(I love a naughty bad girl). Mimiinnyc(the very first blog I read afrochic was second)also has a book deal. Stop Al Sharpton and the NAACP from endangering Black Women!

Right-thinking black people everywhere are stunned by the recent betrayal of Al Sharpton and the NAACP in a situation that is just too outrageous to ignore.

This is a painful story to tell, but it’s important for the moral, law-abiding majority of black Americans to understand exactly why Al Sharpton and the NAACP must be immediately stopped.

On June 18, 2007, a black woman was gang raped by 10 youths and forced at gunpoint to have sex with her own 12 year old son in a housing complex called Dunbar Village in West Palm Beach, Florida. The young men not only viciously punched, kicked and sliced this sister and her son with glass objects, but they also blinded her boy by pouring nail polish remover into his eyes.

The young men forced this sister and son to lay naked in a bathtub together, and attempted to set them on fire (they could not find matches). The youths boldly took cell phone pictures so that they could enjoy their violent, immoral and sadistic acts at a later time. The violence continued for more than three hours, and although this sister’s neighbors heard her screams, no one called the police or came to her aid.

This sister and her son had to walk a mile to the hospital, because the assailants stole her car, and threatened to kill her and her family if she told the authorities.

Only four of the young men have been apprehended, while the remaining six are on the loose, doing Lord knows what in our communities. There is no manhunt for the remaining suspects.

As devastating as this story is, what the NAACP and Al Sharpton have done about it will simply take your breath away:

Not only did the NAACP ignore hundreds of requests to assist this woman because it was 'outside the scope of their mission', but they joined forces with Al Sharpton, and sent their lawyers to speak out IN SUPPORT OF THE RAPISTS.

You heard me right.

Even though there is conclusive DNA evidence and signed confessions, the NAACP and Al Sharpton are saying that it is 'unfair' to not offer bail to these four alleged rapists. They even had a press release about it.

IT IS TIME FOR SENSIBLE BLACK PEOPLE TO STOP THIS KIND OF NONSENSE ONCE AND FOR ALL.

Al Sharpton and the NAACP are banking on the belief that you and I will be just like this black woman’s neighbors. Join me by saying NOT THIS TIME. We will not turn a deaf ear to when we hear calls for help from one of our sisters and brothers who are being victimized.

Stop the NAACP and Al Sharpton’s National Action Network from committing this disgrace in our community. Just this once, let’s stand up and be counted by saying that we demand safe neighborhoods for our women and children.

1. Spread the word. Forward this email if your conscience and concern have been raised. Send it to every concerned black citizen that you know.

2. Demand an explanation from your local NAACP chapter about this case. Cancel your membership to these organizations, and write a letter explaining that you will return when they prioritize the public safety needs of black women and children.

I miss reading all of my favorite blogs but I am on vacation right now. Can you guess where I am.

I really love this place. Although if I was a guy and a weed head, I would like it so much more.
I think a few of my favorite bloggers(Coffee, Amadeo) would enjoy this place for different reasons, its a hedonist and boheamian paradise. I've visted a number of museams in addition to the red light district because one must have balance.

When I saw these videos all I could say to myself was wow.

To be honest I am surprised that this does not happen more often. Sometimes family members can become very emotional when their loved ones have been harmed or are facing some serious jail time.

To many people stood around and did nothing.

I mean really, they beat that sister down while calling her black bitch and nigger(which was blanked out). One brother decided that instead of breaking it up, he wants to take a picture of the fight. I certainly wouldn't want him to slap any of those women around but he certainly could of helped to pull them apart. Not that he has anything against hitting women because he was certainly about to pop the women who slapped his camera out of his hand.

I got a load of questions about this video

1. Why are the black people standing around okay with the white family calling the reporter a Nigger?

Black bitch is a name I don't care for either, but nigger is in a totally different league.

2. Why did they chose this reporter when there where other reporters on the scene also?

3. Why couldn't her camera man do a better job of protecting her?

4. If this was a white reporter and the attackers black, would this be all over FOX and other news stations?

I am sure bill o'reilly(sp) would use this as another example of blacks who are uncivilized.

10. Am I the only one is is sick of these Save the Last Dance like movies. I am also sick of seeing comic book/cartoon remake movies also. Lets not forget the movie about the nice white lady who goes to inner city to help the poor naturally tanned kids learn how to read and write. Hollywood is an example of one of the ills of capitalism. I find myself watching foreign films often because most American films are lacking. Instead of spending money on special effects most American films would do better in spending money on better screen writers. If you want to see good American films you have to wait until November-early January.

9. I am in serious need of some pe.nis. Its been so long(October) since I last wrapped my legs around the swinger's(archives) neck. Ole boy has been blowing up my phone too. Maybe I will hook up with him next week. I should probably put in the energy to meet and get to know someone else, but I just don't have the time right now.

8. So Muicca Prada has finally used a black model. Jourdan Dunn is the first black model to walk the Prada runway since Naomi Campbell back in the 90's. The sad thing is, there are so many blacks wear goods by Prada, but not I(well maybe now since she used a blk model). I think she was/is trying to tell us something when she used all Nordic looking models for years on end. Do you get it.

7. Do you think Beyonce intentionally stepped on Tina Turner's foot. I think it was a accident. If you look at the video, you can see that Beyonce was completely thrown off (for once) after stepping on Tina's foot. Of all the entertainers out today, I would say that Beyonce is the closest thing to Tina.

2. MAC face! Why are so many women walking around with stripes of color painted on their faces. I love makeup, but I use colors that suite me. I will not walk around looking like some of the faces that I see in Towson Town Center. I hope that none of these women are thinking that they are going to attract a man looking like that(if they are looking for a man). A lot of these women look like straight up clowns.

1. Once more on Obama. To be honest I thought I would never see the day in my life time that a black man is so close to becoming president. I can only imagine what is going through the minds of many elderly black people who are 80 years old and older. African-Americans from that age group have grandparents and some parents who were slaves. For them to see someone like Obama come so far and so close must be unbelievable. I am going to talk with some of the older black people I come across to find out their opinion first hand.

Please Vote Today

There is an ongoing debate about whether African-Americans can/should speak standard English. Personally, I say that yes we should know how to speak standard English but when we are speaking amongst ourselves, I have no problem with African-Americans using Ebonics to communicate. I view it no differently than when I am at the mall and the Korean shop keeper converses with me in English, and turns to her brother and speaks to him in Korean.

Speaking of Korean, until I started digging for blogs of blacks living abroad, I had no idea that so many African-Americans/blacks taught in Asia. I recently found the blog of a sister living in Indonesia, I will add it later. I can only imagine the number of blacks in S. Korea who are teaching there, but don't blog. Below are two videos of sisters living in South Korea.

I am all for not toming in public, but some black people overly concern themselves with what others think. I have read on a number of black blogs in which the authors write that they refuse to eat fried chicken around their white coworkers or even white people in restaurants. I am undecided on this because I happen to like fried chicken, and I don't think we should give others so much control over us. At the same time, I see whites enjoying their cooked, sometimes bloody steaks(stereotype of white people) without a care in the world. So, is eating fried chicken around whites a do or a don't. For Naijas who don't eat fried chicken, do you hesitate to eat Nigerian food around oyinbos, if so why?

22.You home school your child, or if they do attend a traditional school, its African based.

23. You are currently learning or are fluent in an African language. Most likely Wolof, Swahili or Yoruba. African-American/bougie folks learn French, Spanish, Japanese or Mandarin.

24. You can speak standard English when you are with one crowd and Ebonics when you with another. I think all black people should be able to do this.

25. You are very open to practicing or living in a lifestyle that is outside of the
American norm (ex. polygamy).

26. You are super liberal politically. You believe that what adults do behind closed doors is their business, but you want rich people to pay more taxes. Somewhere on your list of changes you would like to see Americans one day have universal health care, limited work hours and mandatory 8 weeks vacation.

I've had a thatblackgirl expericence today.

I've read the statistics which state that 78% of all black women are overweight, but still.

So I was in the cafeteria with three classmates(two white and one who is 1/4 Asian and 3/4 white) this morning getting breakfast and while we where sitting at a table eating our plates of grease, a very thin striking dark skinned black woman passed us wearing a white suit. Two of my classmates make a statement about how thin(about size 0-2) the black woman was in the way that women do when they are admiring the body of another woman. One of the white classmates make a statement that she was especially thin for a black woman, and laughed afterwards. The second white classmate was struck dumb and just looked at her. the third classmate who is 1/4 Asian would not bring her head up to meet my eyes or idiots(or maybe she did not hear her). I do not hear overt comments like this very often so it really shocked the hell out of me.

Later on I asked the dumbfounded classmate about what the other classmate said just to make sure I wasn't imaging things. Well of course, she made up something else to cover idiot. I can't say I was hurt because I don't expect much from most people but I am angry that she would say that in front of me. Why not wait until she is in the company of an all white group to say those things.

Before my black people jump on me for that last sentence, let me explain. In an ideal world people would not be racist or make those type of course statements. We don't live in an ideal world, so at the very least I say that you have respect for me and keep those thoughts to your self.

Funny thing is, she is obese herself, so she has no room to talk.

She has always been very friendly towards me but today during clinicals she was especially so. I think her guilt was eating her up. Or maybe she is afraid that I will report her to our instructors.

I don't think she is a night rider for the klan, but I do think she has deep seated issues. I think she has a bit of that igorant-racism that most whites have and a little bit of malice based racism too.

I should mention that she told a Japanese man(yesterday) who was born in the US that he spoke excellent English. I quickly steped in to tell her he was American born. He was a bit irratated by her comment. From what I've read and heard this is a statement that American born Asains hear all of the time.

This program requires so much. I have never been under this much stress before in my life, and it only gets harder as I continue the program . I am looking on the bright side of things, only three more semesters to complete before I am a nurse.

I must say thought, I wonder how Doctors make it through medical school.

Then again, as a nurse I must know all that is required of a nurse, and half of what is required of a doctor. Who do you think is responsible for cleaning up the doctors errors(medication) etc.. Nursing is nothing like ER and Greg's anatomy.

New Music

One of the best Alternative black artists out there has a second album on the horizon. Her name is Res and she is just what we need right now.

This brother, this brother and these brothers have each written about the need for a new direction in African-American music. I also think that mainstream media needs to show a deeper appreciation for other forms of African-American music and artists besides the "Tomfoolery" that is seen daily on MTV and BET.

The first video below is from a very talented artist by the name of RES who came on the scene at around the same time as Jill Scott and India Irie. Although Scott and Irie gained a wide audience, received some mainstream attention, and sold a decent number of records, Res was not as lucky(MTV feautred her videos). It seems that the only black rock musician who can currently get mainstream play and sell records is Lenny Kravitz.

Now, I am not one to overly criticise this woman since I am in a very loosely based polygamous relationship myself with the Swinger. That said, I don't know how I would react to thisin a long term relationship with children. I don't know if I could share a man that I love(Swinger is just cool) with another woman equaly. I'm bothered with the idea of a man that I'm sleeping with puting the same raw dog dick into me that he had inside of another woman yesterday.

I had my first exam in nursing school today. It wasn't end of the world hard but it certainly wasn't easy either. At this stage of the game, we do very little memorization. Must of the test questions involve application. I would give you an example but since I just polished my nails, I don't want to do much typing.

I need to relax,so here is a clip of a Ghanaian(?) movie. I was lol when I looked at it the first time. For those who are unfamiliar with African movies(I get a diverse group of visitors here), Nigerian move industry, also know as Nollywood, is the third largest movie industry in the world following Hollywood and Bollywood. Most of the movies are not feature films(Senegal has very good feature films) but home movies instead. Ghana is on the come up in the home movie industry. The second preacher man(in white) in this film is one of the most successful Nigerian actors. He is famous for playing Nigerians who return home after living in America for a period of time. If I'm not mistaken his name is Jim Ikie(sp) someone help me if I am wrong.
